NEMOPODA NITIDULA Fallen 1820 (as Musca). Sweden: not stated. Lectotype ♂, by designation of Pont in Pont & Meier, 2002: 124, in Naturhistoriska Riksmuseum, Stockholm, Sweden.

cylindrica(l) Fallen 1794 (as Musca). Germany: Germania. Holotype ♀, in Zoological Museum, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Junior primary homonym, preoccupied by Musca cylindrica De Geer, 1776.

putris Robineau-Desvoidy 1830. France(?): [probably Saint-Sauveur]. Syntypes ♂♂ and ♀♀, presumed destroyed.

viridis Macquart 1835. France: Bordeaux. Holotype ♀, presumed destroyed.

ruwenzoriensis Vanschuytbroeck 1963. Democratic Republic Of The Congo: Virunga National Parc: "Kalonge, riv. KaTel Aviv University, Tel-Aviv, Israel leko, affl. Butahu, 2060m". Holotype ♂, in Musée Royal de l’Afrique Centrale, Tervuren, Belgium.
